Introduction to Facilitated Communication/Supported Typing Facilitator Training Rescheduled to June 17, 2017

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the June 3rd training has been
rescheduled to June 17, 2017. We apologize for any inconvenience.

We are pleased to announce that Saved By Typing will be hosting the first of a new 9-part series of Facilitated Communication (FC) training programs in Central Indiana, an Introduction to Facilitated Communication/Supported Typing Training Workshop on Saturday June 3 June 17, 2017, from 9:00 AM until 4:30 PM.

“Introduction” training gets you ready to explore the method, but trying it and practicing helps gain confidence to be a good facilitator and know what you are doing. Follow up with a trainer and seek training, networking with other families. To gain confidence, you must do the following:

  1. Understand the basics of support and be able to apply those principles to working with your child/student.
  2. Be able to shift your role as you get beyond the basics.
