Brady Miller-Wakeham began working with people with various communication impairments as a student in the early nineties. She received her BA from UC Santa Cruz, and her MA from Birkbeck College at the University of London.

Miller-Wakeham is currently the Program Director for WAPADH, a Los Angeles area agency that supports adults with developmental disabilities.

In 2005 she developed WAPADH’s Language Arts and Technology Lending Library, in partnership with the Whittier Area Cooperative Special Education Program.

At WAPADH, Miller-Wakeham provides internal staff trainings on facilitated communication, in addition to monthly community workshops for people with communication needs.
